We partner with corporations to support students with their basic needs. The below are excellent opportunities to partner with us:

  • Support Swipe Out Hunger with a corporate grant: Your support will help dismantle the barriers that students face in accessing their most basic need—food—and enable them to focus on their futures, not on their hunger.
  • Sponsor our Annual Student Summit: Each year, we convene student leaders from across the country to share best practices and develop innovative approaches for future programming. Help us make this event possible through financial sponsorship to support our event and programs or in-kind donations of food, drinks, or other products for our college students.
  • Brand Partnership: Show your support for the anti-hunger movement and encourage your customers to join the fight by donating a percentage of sales. Swipe Out Hunger will amplify the campaign through our channels.
  • Launch or Establish a Matching Gift Program: Launch a matching gift program or include Swipe Out Hunger in your current program to maximize the impact of employee donations.

In 2019, Sodexo launched a pilot program across 13 universities, establishing “Meal Swipes Banks” for students facing food insecurity to access. We will be working closely with their national team to ensure students are at the table in designing and thoughtfully promoting the resource. In its first year, the 13-campus pilot will lead to an additional 25,000 meals and plans for a national roll-out following this pilot.

The second largest food service provider in the country became the founding funder of our Research & Development Lab, which seeks to surface and promote high impact, innovative solutions to address campus hunger. This includes piloting cutting-edge programs on campuses, leveraging data and research, and developing advocacy strategies to catalyze public funding for higher education basic needs programs.

The technology company who operates the ID card services on hundreds of campuses eliminated the logistical challenges of transferring meal swipes by developing functionality within their GET CBORD Student app to allow students to instantly donate their leftover meals to their peers who are facing food insecurity on campus.

In 2019, Soylent launched a 1:1 campaign: meaning for every bottle purchased, Soylent made a donation to Swipe Out Hunger. They also hosted our 2019 Student Summit and provided products to our campuses.
