About the program

University of Idaho is one of the 13 campuses participating in the meal swipe bank pilot program that Sodexo and Swipe out Hunger launched in Spring 2020. At each of these universities, Sodexo is establishing a “Meal Swipe Bank” for students facing food insecurity. For the 2020- 2021 academic year, Sodexo is providing two meals for every mandatory meal plan sold at University of Idaho.

To request meal support, members of the Vandal community can fill out a Vandal CARE report to be connected with a Vandal Care team representative who can provide assistance. For more information about the Vandal Food pantry check out the campus resources section below.
