About the program

The Food Pantry at Columbia (TFP@CU) spearheads the effort to address hunger amongst its student community and the stigma associated with food insecurity. Through partnership with Swipe Out Hunger, TFP@CU has established a module with which to raise funds to support a more robust inventory, including access to a local farmshare to supplement the non-perishable goods kept in stock.

Program Roots

Through the partnership, Columbia Dining has pledged and annual donation of $5,000 to the pantry and the School of General Studies has committed $50,000 over the course of the next 5 years.
