About the program

At the dining hall, UNLV students can donate to the Rebels Swipe Out Hunger program. Students donate swipes from their meal plans to their peers facing food insecurity, which will be matched by Aramark. Meal passes are then distributed to students through the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs.

Are you experiencing food insecurity on campus? Students can request swipes by email at [email protected]. You can also learn more about UNLV’s food pantry and the Rebels Swipe Out Hunger program in our Campus Resources section below.

Program Roots

UNLV learned that they had a need based on students contacting the Student Affairs Office for financial assistance. The Student Affairs Office connected with Aramark to create the Rebels Swipe Out Hunger program.

Get involved

Students can donate a meal swipe and volunteer at the UNLV food pantry to assist those in need.
