About the program

Swipe it Forward is a program for UNH undergraduate and graduate students who are challenged by food insecurity to simply and confidentially request and receive meal swipes for use during the academic semesters at any of the three dining halls or as a Meal to Go or Meal Exchange. This program exists thanks to ongoing financial support from UNH staff, faculty, students and the community. Donations can be made in a variety of ways including credit card, cash, payroll deduction, and donating swipes by signing up at the Dining ID Office. Throughout the year, students can donate up to 15 swipes per semester. The Counseling Center, Health Services, and Cornucopia Food Pantry refer students facing food insecurity to this resource and arrange for funds to be loaded onto their accounts.

Are you experiencing food insecurity on campus? Please email your confidential request to SwipeIt.Forward@unh.edu and you will receive a reply within 24 hours with details about accessing meal swipes. You can also contact the Dean of Students office at 862- 2053, or check out our Campus Resources section below for information on local food pantries.
