Ohio University
Welcome Bobcats!

About the program

During the designated week in the fall and spring semesters, students can stop by the dining hall registers to donate up to three swipes to the Bobcats Helping Bobcats Meal Bank. To learn which weeks students can donate, consult Bobcats Helping Bobcats. The Dean of Students Office then distributes meals to students facing food insecurity by loading the meals directly onto students’ ID cards.

Are you experiencing food insecurity on campus? To access the Meal Bank, fill out this short online application. Students will be notified via email if they are approved for donated meals. Those meals will be loaded directly on the student’s OHIO ID card and can be used in any Dining Court, Shively Grab N Go, or Smooth Moves at Boyd Market. You can also check out our Campus Resources section below for more information on the Cats’ Cupboard Food Pantry.
