Swipes for the homeless at University of California, San Diego was started by Shashank Gupta, Daniel Farahdel and Brad Segal in the Spring of 2013 to address the increasing levels of hunger in San Diego county. Tritons are renowned for giving back to our local communities in San Diego. Through Swipes UC San Diego students are able to directly donate their dining dollars to alleviate hunger in San Diego. How Swipes at UCSD Works
Through swipes at UC San Diego, students are able to donate any unused dining dollars to those in need. All you need to do is visit our donation page, sign into Tritonlink and click on the box to donate leftover dining dollars the end of the year! With this easy-to-use system, you can donate whenever and wherever. When you have donated your dining dollars, Swipes for the Homeless at UC San Diego will handle the rest. Food will be delivered straight to the San Diego Food Bank and will then be distributed to families, students and homeless communities in need. Students may also volunteer through Swipes. Please contact Swipes for the Homeless at UC San Diego for volunteering opportunities at the San Diego Food Bank.
Right now! Donate your leftover dining dollars to the San Diego Food Bank by visiting our donation page at https://hdh.ucsd.edu/sso/HDHDonate.
