Swipes for Slugs was founded in 2017 with a mission of ending student food insecurity and hunger in the surrounding community. The program operates in strong partnership with the Dean of Students Office and Dining.
Starting the last few weeks of Winter & Spring 2018, students can donate their unused swipes online or at the cafeteria stations. The funds raised in this program are used to give other students who don't have enough to eat access to hot meals in the dining halls.
- 5 and 7 Day Plan holders can contribute up to 4 guest meals.
- 55 Meals per quarter plan holders can contribute up to 10 meals.
- Slug Club card holders can contribute up to 10 meals at dining hall registers only.
