Swipe Out Hunger was established at Fresno State in the Fall of 2017 by Brooke Poore and Demitria Wack in partnership with The Student Cupboard and University Dining Services.

The first Swipe Out Hunger drive took place on Monday Nov 13, kicking off National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week on campus. From 7am to 8pm students could donate one meal at the Swipe Out Hunger table in the Dining Hall. 459 swipes were collected and these donations were converted into dining hall credits to support students who are experiencing food insecurity.

If you or someone you know is in need of food resources, contact The Student Cupboard for more information.
